3W Policing

Anti-social behaviour is a growing issue for the Police. Young people congregate in busy community centres and harass and intimidate local people.

Police typically have two options: arrest them or move them on. The first is expensive and draconian; the second is pointless and ineffective.

Enter: 3W coaching.

We believe it is ultimately cheaper and more effective to coach these young people into doing something more productive.

Our programme trains police officers and Community Support Officers in the 3W technique of getting people to set goals and plan to achieve it.

Officers would also learn how to motivate young people and communicate more effectively with them.

Coaching skills can also be useful with the adult population to reduce tensions and to get people thinking about solutions rather than conflict.
