The 3W coaching model 3W stands for an integrated 3-stage approach to achievement by establishing clear goals, developing a strategy, and raising the motivation and determination to see it through – all within a supportive and dynamic coaching environment. People fail because they lack:
- Clarity of objective
- An effective plan of action
- Sufficient determination to persist
Hence WWW:
- ‘What’ – Setting a positive and specific goal
- ‘When’ – Creating a detailed plan to reach the goal
- ‘Why’ – generating motivation by identifying the benefits
We equip staff with this integrated model, to ensure their work approach optimises the prospect of success. We train managers and staff to apply these skills in regular work interactions. Assigning a task can be radically enhanced using 3W. They will be able to: devise a clearly defined goal and timeframe, adopt an effective plan of action, and generate motivation and commitment. Our training package incorporates communication skills, such as active listening, rapport building, questioning and motivating. Importantly, our dynamic and innovative presentation inspires and motivates personnel to implement 3W in their work life. 3W Coaching began as a project in one of the toughest real world environments - to equip prison officers with the essential knowledge, skills and attitude to bring the best out of prisoners. The same principles hold true in the workplace.
